GMA – Network of Universities of Applied Sciences in the Greater Munich Area

The GMA-Network is a strategic alliance of six universities of applied sciences in Munich and the surrounding area. The Universities of Applied Sciences of Augsburg, Ingolstadt, Landshut, Munich, Rosenheim and Weihenstephan have committed themselves to
- excellence in teaching and research,
- a master network,
- strengthening their international activities and continuing education.
There is a close collaboration with the regional industry through selected programs and projects.

BMTC – Bavarian Malaysian Technology Centre

The BMTC is a project of the GMA-Network to support the activities between Malaysian universities and Bavarian universities of applied sciences and the industry in both countries. The goals are:
• to provide a well-established communication channel
• to support cooperations in the area of Master-/ PhD-programs / Conventions etc.
• to organize contacts between universities and enterprises for sabbaticals, internships
• to provide a database with contacts to alumni
• to support Bavarian enterprises in SEA (staff, technology) and vice versa
Some examples for activities are:
• INSA – International Summer Academy
• Master of Green Building Energy and Management
• JGP – Joint Graduation Program
